NOTE: If the water temperature exceeds 120°F, the ScaldShield Shower Device will shut down the flow to a trickle. To reset, turn the shower valve to a lower temperature, the ScaldShield Shower Device will open again, within 20-60 seconds.

• Ensure that the hot and cold shower taps are turned off. Remove the showerhead.
  
• Apply Teflon tape to the treads of the wall connection and screw on the anti-scald device, hand tighten.
  
• Refit the shower head to the anti-scald device and tighten the assembly.
  
• Reset: When hot water flow shuts down, turn off the hot water tap. The anti-scald device will automatically reset and a mixed flow of hot and cold water will resume.
