BEST METHOD OF USING THESE ANTISCALD DEVICES AFTER INSTALLATION

• Start all devices with COLD water and gradually (slowly) add HOT water until desired temperature.

• All water flow will stop if combined water flow (both hot and cold) reached around 120^o.

• If this happens, SHUT OFF both hot and cold for 30 seconds to one minute, then slowly add cold water until water flow is normal and then again slowly add hot.

• These devices prevent scalding injuries; they are not pressure flow devices which will keep water flow at a specific temperature. It stops water-flow when temperature is above 120^o to prevent any scalding injury.
